PINO SANTO

Say hi to Holy Pine, a natural incense from Sweden that spreads a cozy forest scent in the room. The tar-rich sticks are a northern variant of the South American Palo Santo. Produced by hand in a small and slow production, by Johanna in northern Hälsingland. The trees have been taken down with care to become firewood, whereafter the most tar-rich parts of the pine are selected to become Pino Santo. 

The sticks have a lovely aroma of campfire, forest, and tar, with a touch of rosemary and pine from the organic essential oils used in its production.

Do you wonder what the difference is between Pino Santo and Palo Santo?

• Pino Santo comes from pine trees in Sweden. Our Palo Santo comes from the Bursera Graveloens tree in Peru. 
• The scent is a bit different. Pino Santo smells more of a Swedish “brasa”, like a fireplace in a wooden cottage in the Swedish forest.
• Pino invites you to take it slow. You often have to burn Pino a bit longer than Palo to get enough smoke. It gives you time to really set your intention and take a few deep breaths.
